Matar Paneer Recipe
Put finely chopped onions in hot oil and take them out when they turn light brown (make a Birista). When they cool down, make a paste of onion and curd in a mixer grinder .
In the same pan in which onions were fried, add ground tomatoes, salt, turmeric, cumin, red chili powder, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder and fry for 10 to 12 minutes. Keep stirring at times so that the spices do not burn.
Now add the onion and curd paste and add one tablespoon of water and fry for 4 to 5 minutes on low flame. After frying the masala well, add the boiled peas (boil or soak the peas in salt water for 10 to 12 minutes).
Fry the paneer in one spoon of oil and add paneer, garam masala and kasuri methi.

- Peas 250 gms
- Onion 3 (fried)

- 3 tablespoons of yogurt
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1/2 tsp
- Coriander powder1 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Garam masala 1/2 tsp
- Kasuri methi 2 tsp
