Khopre ke laddu

Let’s see the recipe of Khopre ke Laddu.

To make Khopre ke Laddu , finely chop the coconut using a grater, finely chop the dry fruits like cashew nuts, almonds , pistachios or any other dry fruits you want.

Add 1 tablespoon of desi ghee in a frying pan, fry the dry fruits in it on low flame and take them out.

In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon ghee and grated coconut and fry it for 1 minute while stirring on low flame till the colour changes slightly. Now add milk to it, keep stirring on low flame and when the milk starts reducing, add sugar and mix it.

Now add cardamom powder, dry fruits, dry milk and mix it well and dry everything.

When it cools down a bit, keep giving it the shape of laddu (do not let it cool down too much otherwise laddus will not be formed)

INGREDIENTS

  • Coconut 2 shells (300 g)
  • 20 cashews chopped
  • 20 chopped almonds
  • 20-25 chopped pistachios
  • 2 tablespoons ghee
  • 1 teaspoon lychee powder
  • Sugar 250g
  • Milk 250g (full cream)
  • 4 tablespoons dry milk
