Let’s see how Aloo Bharta is made –
Potato is such a vegetable that is used in most of the food items in one way or the other, if it is a matter of stuffing then brinjal bharta and aloo bharta both are delicious, both have their own distinct taste. Potato bharta is very easy to make. And it is made in a very short time. Potato parathas also become very tasty with this potato bharta. Children and adults like this type of paratha in breakfast and it can also be given in children’s lunch box.
Peel and grind the potatoes and put some water in the cooker and whistle for 2 whistles or without peeling wash and whistle, peel and mash when it cools down.
Put oil in a pan, add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin, turmeric, coriander powder, red chili powder and some water and fry on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes.
When the tomatoes melt and the masala is roasted, add mashed potatoes and green chilies, add a little water and cook on a low flame for 10 minutes, when oil starts appearing, add green coriander and serve.
Aloo Bharta Ingredients-
- Potato 500 grams
- Onion 1 normal size
- tomato 2
- salt as per taste
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Cumin ½ tsp
- Green chilies 3 big size
- Oil
