 Gajar ka HalwaThere is a sweet made in the winter season which is liked by everyone. As soon as winter comes, we start remembering it and the mouth waters after hearing its name. Halwa is made from both red carrots and yellow carrots and is especially served in winter weddings and functions.

This halwa is made in many ways, it contains carrots, milk, condensed milk, khoya, sugar, ghee and dry fruits. Halwa made with desi ghee doubles the taste, hence Gajar ka Halwa Make it in desi ghee only.

Let us see how Gajar ka Halwa is made –

 

 

 

Wash the carrots, grate the pumpkin and put it in a bowl. Desi Ghee When it gets hot, add the carrots and stir well for 2 to 3 minutes. Add milk after.

 

 

 

 

Add milk and keep stirring otherwise the milk will boil and come out, so keep stirring until the milk gets cooked and reduces.

 

 

 

 

Cook the carrot halwa while stirring, taking care that it does not burn from the bottom, now add condensed milk to it. Condensed milk contains sugar, hence add more or less sugar as per your taste. Add cardamom powder.

Once it is roasted well and ghee starts appearing, turn off the gas. Serve with dry fruits as per your choice. >

  • Carrot 1 kg
  • milk 1 kg
  • Condensed milk 400 grams
  • Cardamom Powder (4 Cardamoms)
  • sugar as per taste
  • dry fruit
