Achari Gosht: If you want to make something different and tasty in today’s cuisine, then try this recipe. Pickle spices and mustard oil are added in it, due to which its taste is very tasty and spicy, that is why it is named Achari Gosht. It can be eaten with roti, chapatti, naan etc.

Dry red chilli, coriander, cumin, fennel, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds and nigella seeds, grind all these spices coarsely, do not grind them finely and do not grind nigella seeds.

 

 

 

Heat mustard oil in the cooker and let it cool for some time. This prevents the oil from smelling. In this oil add meat, salt, ginger garlic paste, half of coarsely ground pickle masala (add half now), onion and tomato. Mix it, add a little water and whistle until the meat is cooked, once the gas comes out, fry well until the onions and tomatoes dissolve.

 

 

 

Take one spoon of oil in a pan , add ginger garlic paste and stir for 1 minute on low flame, add curd, turmeric and half the remaining coarse pickle masala, dry the water on full flame, now add roasted meat and mix well. Add thick green chillies and let it cook for one to two minutes.

 

 

 

Take some oil in a frying pan, add finely chopped garlic, dry red chilli, fennel, cumin and mustard seeds. When it turns light brown, add this seasoning to the pickled meat.

This will further enhance the taste of pickled meat.

Achari Gosht Ingredient –

  • Meat – 500 grams
  • salt as per taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 3 tsp (2+1)
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • onion 2
  • Tomato 3
  • curd 100 grams
  • mustard oil
  • Thick green chillies 3 to 4

To make Achari Masala –

  • Fennel 1 tsp
  • coarse coriander 2 tsp
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tsp
  • Nigella 1/4 tsp
  • Dry red chilli 4 to 5
  • Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp

For tempering –

  • Mustard seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Fennel 1/2 tsp
  • dried red chilli 2
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic cloves 4 to 5
