Bhindi Recipe
Everyone likes the Bhindi Recipe prepared in the right manner. It becomes a favourite even for those who do not like Bhindi. In this recipe, onions are fried, spices are added to it and then Bhindi is cooked without adding water.
Let’s see Bhindi Recipe –
Take oil in a pan and fry the onions till they turn light pink. Add tomatoes, salt, ginger-garlic paste, nigella seeds, fenugreek seeds, coriander powder, turmeric, red chilli powder and cumin seeds. When the onions turn light pink, add one spoon of water.
Fry the spices well and keep stirring them at times so that they do not burn.
Once the masala is roasted add ladyfinger and mix it well. Do not add water. Cover and cook the ladyfinger on low flame. Keep stirring it at times so that it does not burn. Once the ladyfingers are cooked turn off the gas .
Bhindi Recipe
Ingredients –
- Bhindi (okra) 500 gms
- Onion 3
- Tomatoes 2
- Turmeric 1/4 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp
- Coriander powder 2 tsp
- Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
- Kalonji (black cumin seeds) 1/4 tsp
- Fenugreek seeds 1/4 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Oil
