Butter Chicken Masala
Butter Chicken Masala is a Punjabi recipe but this recipe is everyone’s favorite. Be it children or adults, everyone eats it with great enthusiasm. This recipe is made in many ways but our recipe is specially taken from Old Delhi which is very famous and This is a tasty recipe and is a great recipe for a dinner party. It is made by mixing tomatoes, cashew nuts, onion, cream and butter. To give it a better flavor, coal smoke is given.
Let’s see the Butter Chicken Masala recipe –
Clean the chicken thoroughly and wash it. For marinating the chicken, add curd, lemon juice or vinegar, salt, ginger garlic paste, food color (optional), Kashmiri red chilli powder and marinate it for some time if you have it. If you have time then make it like this
Heat oil in a pan and put the chicken pieces one by one. As soon as the chicken leaves the water, cover it and let it simmer for 10 to 12 minutes.
Heat 2 spoons of oil in a pan , add onion and cook for 5 to 7 minutes till it becomes soft. When onion becomes soft, add tomatoes, small cardamom, cashew nuts, green coriander sticks, cashew nuts, ginger garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric, salt. Cook everything until it becomes soft.
When it cools down , grind it in a mixer . Make a small bowl or a foil bowl for the fry and neck chicken and place it in the chicken. Light a coal, place it in the bowl, add a few drops of oil or ghee and immediately cover the lid so that the smoke of the coal engulfs the chicken. Come in and make butter chicken smoky.
Heat some oil in a bowl , add ground spices and fry for 5 to 6 minutes. After frying for 5 to 6 minutes, add the remaining spices of chicken marinade and fry for 3 to 4 minutes. Now add chicken, roast fenugreek, garam masala, tomato sauce and a cup of water. Cook for a few minutes, add fresh cream or milk cream and turn off the gas, add butter before serving.
Butter Chicken Masala – Ingredient –
for marination
- Chicken 1 kg
- curd 100 grams
- salt as per taste
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
- 2 pinches food color (optional)
- Lemon juice 2 teaspoons
For fries –
- onion 3
- Tomato 4
- small cardamom 4 to 5
- Cashews 18 to 20
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
- salt as per taste
- Kashmiri red chilli powder 1 tsp
- turmeric 1/4 tsp
- green coriander stalks
- Oil and 2 spoons butter
Rest of the spices –
- garam masala 1 tsp
- Kasoori Methi 1 tsp
- Cream or milk cream 4 to 5 teaspoons
- Tomato sauce 1 tsp
- Butter 100 grams
