Let’s see Chana(Gram) Chat Recipe-
Wash the chickpeas and soak them for the whole night, after applying a whistle to the soaked chickpeas in the cooker, reduce the flame and let it cook for 12 to 15 minutes.
Open the cooker after the gas is released, if the gram is not cooked properly, then cook it for a few more minutes.
In a bowl add salt, red chili powder, black salt, chaat fruit masala, turmeric, coriander powder, garam masala, dry mango powder and make a paste by adding some water to all these spices.
Pour some oil in a pan, when the oil is hot, add cumin seeds, add a little asafoetida, grated ginger and cook on a low flame for 1 to 2 minutes. Now add the prepared spice paste.
After roasting the masala for a few minutes, add gram and mix it well.
When it cools down, add finely chopped onions, green chilies, tomatoes, green coriander to it and mix it well, if you want, add lemon too.
Chana Chat Ingredients-
- Chana 200 grams
- salt as per taste
- black salt half teaspoon
- Roasted cumin seeds 1 tsp
- garam masala half tsp
- Chaat fruit masala
- 1 tsp turmeric
- half teaspoon red chili powder
- half tsp Amchur powder
- ½ tsp Coriander powder
- 1 tsp Hing 1 pinch
