Let’s see Chana Dal Recipe (Method)
Wash the rice and lentils thoroughly and soak them for 2 hours beforehand.
When the oil is hot in the cooker, add chopped onions and brown them, keep stirring till the onions turn brown, otherwise the onions turn black due to which the taste of Dal Pulao is not good.
When the onion turns brown, add tomato, ginger garlic paste, salt, clove, fennel, bay leaf and cumin and fry it well.
After the spices are well roasted, add thick green chillies and water till the top of the rice, let it whistle and reduce the flame to low, now turn off the gas for 5 to 7 minutes. Open the cooker when the air is out of the cooker.
