Cut the onion, wash it and grind it in a mixer grinder. Wash the tomato and grind it.
Heat oil in a pan, add crushed onions and tomatoes and fry on low flame for 15 to 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, whole red chillies (cut 2 or 3 of each), bay leaves, coarse coriander, cumin seeds. Add cloves, black pepper, chopped ginger, salt, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, coriander powder (red chilli powder optional) to the roasted onions and tomatoes.
After adding the spices, cook on low flame for 10 to 15 minutes and keep stirring in between so that the spices do not burn, now add one spoon of water and chopped green chilli to the chicken and cover and cook till the chicken is cooked, when the chicken is cooked it will turn green. Add coriander and serve.

- Tomato 400 grams
- coarse coriander 2 tsp
- bay leaves 2 small
- cumin 1 tsp
- Whole red chillies 9 to 10 (2 to 3 pieces of 1 chilli)
- cloves 6 to 7
- black pepper 7 to 8
- salt as per taste
- turmeric 1/2 tsp
- coriander powder 2 tsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tsp (optional)
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- Ginger 1 inch (chopped)
- Green chilli (coarsely chopped)
