You must have eaten Dahi Papdi chat many times, but you must not have eaten chaat made like this, it is very tasty. Black gram, curd, papdi, tamarind chutney and spicy spices are added to it.

Let’s see the recipe of Dahi Papdi Chat –

 

 

Soak the black gram overnight, boil it in the cooker in the morning, add salt and water to the gram, whistle on full flame, after one whistle, reduce the flame and cook for 15 to 20 minutes (until the gram gets cooked well) Potatoes Also boil onion, tomato (do not put seeds inside the tomato), green coriander and finely chop green chillies.

 

 

 

Add potatoes, tomatoes, green chillies, green coriander, onions to the boiled gram and mix it. Add sugar to the curd and mix well. Before adding sugar, drain the water from the curd (you have to add the curd only at the time of serving, otherwise the curd will curdle). (releases water) Mix gram and add curd. Pour sweet chutney on top.

On top add pomegranate seeds (pomegranate seeds are optional) add green coriander, chaat fruit masala, salt, red chilli powder, roasted crushed cumin and papdi. Break it and add all these things. You can also add finely chopped sev and green chutney as per your wish.

Your mouth watering chaat – patti chaat is ready.

  • black gram 250 grams
  • Potatoes 2
  • Onion 1
  • Tomato 2
  • Green chilli 2 to 3
  • Curd 200 grams
  • Sweet chutney 3 to 4 teaspoons
  • Roasted ground cumin 1 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Chaat fruit masala 1 tsp
  • green coriander
  • sugar as per taste
  • Papdi 8 to 10
