Gajar Gosht

Gajar Gosht dish is a special dish of winter. In the winter season, the recipe is made by adding meat, onion, tomato and spices to fresh red carrots which turns out to be very tasty. This dish is also very easy to make, it can be prepared with roti, chapatti, Rice or paratha can be eaten with anything; it can be eaten hot at any time for lunch or dinner.

Let’s see the recipe for making Gajar Gosht –

 

 

 

Chop the onion and tomato, peel the carrot, wash and grind it. Add salt, red chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric, cumin and ginger garlic paste to all these spices, put the carrot and onion and tomato in the cooker, add oil and some Pour some water and whistle.

 

 

 

After one whistle, reduce the flame of the gas and let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes on low flame so that the carrots get cooked properly. Remove the gas from the cooker, open the cooker and put it back on the gas. Break the carrots with a spoon and add the onions and carrots. Mix tomatoes and spices. When everything is mixed well, add meat and half a cup of water and whistle until the meat is cooked.

 

 

 

Open the cooker , add green chillies and drain the water while stirring on full flame.

Add green coriander before serving.

Gajar Gosht Ingredient –

  • meat 500 grams
  • Carrot 5oo grams
  • onion 2
  • Tomato 2
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Green chilli 3 to 4
  • green coriander
