Method for preparing dish:
Clean and wash the goat liver thoroughly. Cut it into small pieces. Also, chop the red chili, ginger, tomato, and green chili.
Prepare a paste by grinding ginger-garlic paste, cumin, salt, turmeric, kasuri methi, coriander powder, onion, yogurt, cloves, and oil.
Mix the paste with the goat liver, adding all the spices except green chili. Do not add water. Stir well and close the pressure cooker. Cook on low heat for 1-2 whistles. After the gas is released, open the cooker and cook on high heat until the oil separates.
Kaleji Recipe Ingredients:
- 750 grams of goat liver
- 3 large onions
- 2 tomatoes
- 100 grams of yogurt
- 1 teaspoon kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves)
- 5-6 whole red chilies
- 1-inch ginger, chopped
- Salt to taste
- 2 teaspoons coriander powder
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder+
- 2 teaspoons ginger-garlic paste
- 4-5 green chilies
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds
- 6-7 cloves
- Oil
