Let’s see the Masala Shikanji recipe –

First of all, let’s prepare the masala for Shikanji –

  • Cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Roasted cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger powder (sotham) 1/2 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • Black salt 1 tsp
  • Cardamom 1
  • Black pepper 1 tsp
  • 1 teaspoon chaat fruit masala (optional)

Put all these in a mixer grinder and grind them finely.

You can make this spice more delicious by adding it to lemon water (shikanji), watermelon juice  , mango sherbet etc.

To make the sherbet even easier, you can prepare and store sugar syrup (sugar water) –

Heat 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a bowl on the gas till the sugar dissolves. Do not keep it on the gas for too long. Fill it in a bottle after it cools down. Whenever you feel like making sherbet, add 2 tablespoons of syrup in a glass and make sherbet easily.

To make Shikanji (shikanji) –

  • Take 2 tablespoons sugar syrup in a glass.
  • Add half a teaspoon of Shikanji masala in it.
  • If you want, crush some mint leaves and add them (optional)
  • Add ice cubes and half lemon and mix it with a spoon.
  • Garnish with mint and lemon.
