Matar Keema Recipe is a great dish for non-vegetarians. We can make it at home very easily and with less ingredients. If there is a party at home or guests come, then try this dish. To make it, use green peas, potatoes, Minced meat, onion, tomato and some spices are used. This dish tastes delicious when eaten with rice and roti.

Let’s see Matar Keema Recipe –

 

 

 

Chop onion and tomato, add red chilli powder, salt, coriander powder, turmeric ginger garlic paste and oil in the cooker along with the minced meat and stir well.

 

 

 

Do not add water, close the lid of the cooker, after one whistle, reduce the flame of the gas and cook for 3 whistles, after the gas comes out of the cooker , open the cooker and roast it on full flame.

 

 

 

When the water dries up and oil starts appearing, add chopped green chillies, ginger, peas, add some water and cook for one whistle. When the gas comes out of the cooker, add chopped potatoes, add water as required and cook for 2 whistles.

 

 

 

Open the cooker and check the potatoes and peas, if there is excess water, dry them on full flame, add green coriander and serve.

  • mincemeat 500 grams
  • Peas 400 grams (with peels)
  • potatoes 2
  • Tomato 2
  • Onion 3 large
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 teaspoon
  • salt as per taste
  • Green chilli 4 to 5
  • chopped ginger
  • Oil
