To make paneer pakodas, first prepare the chutney which is filled inside the paneer. Grind dry red chilli, salt, garlic, tomato and cumin in a mixer jar and make chutney.

 

 

 

Add red chilli powder, salt, baking soda in gram flour and make a paste by adding little water. Grind the paneer into squares or long squares (as per your choice), make a slit in the middle of the paneer with the help of a knife. And fill it with chutney. Prepare all the pieces like this.

 

 

 

 

Heat medium oil in a pan, dip the paneer one by one in the gram flour paste and put them in the oil when they become light brown from both the sides and take them out.

Serve hot with your favorite chutney or sauce.

Paneer Pakoda Recipe  Ingredients –

For chutney –

  • Dry red chilli 2 to 3
  • Garlic cloves 3 to 4
  • salt as per taste
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • tomato one small

For cheese –

  • Paneer 200 grams
  • Gram flour 100 grams
  • salt as per taste
  • Red chilli powder 1/4 tsp
  • a pinch of soda
  • Oil
