Cut red and yellow capsicum, cut potatoes into small pieces, cut tomatoes in a bowl, add ginger garlic paste, salt, coriander powder, cumin, turmeric, red chilli powder, cloves, take out all these spices and mix them.

 

 

 

Grind the paneer, heat some oil in a pan and fry the paneer when it becomes light brown from both the sides and take it out.

 

 

 

Heat mustard oil in an iron pan and when it gets hot, turn off the gas and let the oil cool down for some time. This will prevent the oil from smelling. After it cools down for a few minutes, heat it again and add chopped onions. When it becomes soft, add mixed spices and fry on low flame.

 

 

 

Once the tomatoes are melted, add capsicum and potatoes, add some water, stir well, cover the pan and let it cook on low flame for 10 to 12 minutes. Keep stirring in between. Now check the potatoes, if any, add a spoonful of water. Cook for a few more minutes. Once the potatoes are cooked, add water as per your wish and make gravy.

  • Paneer 200 grams
  • Capsicum 1 small (red)
  • Capsicum 1 small (yellow)
  • potatoes 2 small
  • Onion 2 finely chopped
  • Tomato 1
  • turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 2 tsp
  • cloves 4 to 5
  • salt as per taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • cumin 1/2 tsp
  • mustard oil
