Put some oil or ghee in the cooker and add tomato, salt, turmeric, coriander, red chili powder. Add ginger garlic paste, cumin and all these spices and fry well.

  • four cups of water
  • salt as per taste
  • chili powder one teaspoon
  • a large tomato
  • coriander powder
  • one tablespoon turmeric
  • half teaspoon Ginger garlic paste
  • one tablespoon cumin half teaspoon

For a while (Tadka)-

  • Oil or ghee
  • finely chopped onion one small
  • Finely chopped garlic 8 to 10 cloves
  • Whole red chilies 4 to 5
  • 1/2 tsp cumin (for tempering)
