For the syrup, add sugar, cardamom, rose water or kewda water and saffron or food color (both of which you have) in water in a bowl and cook for 10 to 12 minutes.
When the milk starts boiling, reduce the flame and keep stirring. After 10 to 12 minutes, make a paste by mixing a little milk with dry milk and corn flower and add it to the milk and keep stirring on low flame.
When the milk thickens, add sugar and saffron or food color (both of which you have) and let it cook. When it thickens, turn off the gas.
