Tandoori Chicken Masala

Just hearing the name Tandoori Chicken Masala makes the mouth water. This recipe can be made easily without tandoor and is also very easy to prepare. Having this recipe in the feast increases the fun of the feast, this is a favorite of non-vegetarians. This is a dish, it can be made in many ways, we will make it without tandoor.

Tandoori Chicken Masala

Let’s see the recipe for making Tandoori Chicken Masala –

 

 

 

Cut one chicken into four pieces, wash them thoroughly and make cuts at a distance of one inch. We will do two marinations in it. For the first marination, make a paste of salt, red chilli powder, ginger garlic paste and lemon juice. Now apply this paste thoroughly on the chicken and keep it covered for 10 to 15 minutes.

 

 

 

For the second marination, make a paste of all these spices like Kasoori Methi, Cumin Powder, Coriander Powder, Salt, Kashmiri Red Chilli, Black Pepper Powder, Food Colour, Lemon Juice, Drained Curd, Turmeric and Oil and before the first marination Apply it well and keep it for 1 hour.

 

 

 

 

Take butter or oil in a pan, add chicken pieces one by one, cover and cook for 2 to 3 minutes on full flame, then reduce the flame, let it cook for 5 to 7 minutes, after that remove the lid and turn the chicken and cook for 5 to 7 minutes. Cook from the other side for a minute and keep the gas on low.

Lighten the gas as per requirement and let the chicken cook well from both the sides. To give it tandoori flavour, burn a coal on the gas. Make a steel bowl or a foil paper bowl in the middle of the chicken and place the coal in it. Keep it inside and add a few drops of oil and close the lid for 5 to 7 minutes. Take out the coal and serve with chutney.

Chatni Recipe-

 

 

 

To make chutney, grind mint, green coriander, salt, ginger garlic paste, green chilli, cumin in a mixer grinder . Now add some curd to this paste and rotate it one or two more times.

Chutney to be served with tandoori chicken is ready.

 

 

 

 

Chatni Ingredients –

  • a handful of mint
  • a handful of green coriander
  • salt as per taste
  • Green chilli 2 to 3
  • cumin 1 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 tsp
  • Curd 3 to 4 tsp

 Chicken Tandoori

  • Chicken (four pieces each)

Fist merination

  • Red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp

Second Merinatio-

  • curd 4 tsp
  • salt as per taste
  • kashmiri red chilli powder
  • turmeric 1/2 tsp
  • Food color 1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Garam Masala 1 tsp
  • cumin powder 1 tsp
  • Kasoori Methi 1 tsp
  • black pepper powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon 2 tsp

Butter 1 tbsp

oil 2 tsp
