Shimla Mirch Keema is a non-veg dish which is prepared very easily. In this, minced meat is fried and capsicum and potatoes are added to it.

Let’s see Shimla Mirch Keema –

 

 

 

Mix the washed minced meat, onion, tomato, red chilli powder, coriander powder, salt, cumin, turmeric, ginger garlic paste and oil (do not add water) well in the cooker and let it whistle for 4 to 5 times. When the gas of the cooker comes out, fry the minced meat on full flame.

 

 

 

Once the minced meat is fried, add chopped green chillies, ginger, capsicum, potatoes and one tablespoon water.

 

 

 

Mix well and let it whistle twice. After the gas of the cooker is gone, open it and check it. If there is excess water then dry it on full flame. Add green coriander and serve.

Ingredients –

  • Minced meat 500 gms
  • Capsicum 2 large
  • Potatoes 2
  • Onion 3
  • Tomatoes 2
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Turmeric 1/4 tsp
  • Coriander powder 1 tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2 tsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Green chillies 6 to 7
  • Ginger 1 inch piece
  • Oil
