Soak moong dal 1 hour before, drain the water and grind it in the mixer grinder. Now with the help of hands, stir it in one direction only. By doing this, lumps will not form in the bhajiya.

 

 

 

Add finely chopped onion, finely chopped green chillies, finely chopped coriander, salt, red chilli powder and baking soda to the ground moong dal and mix.

 

 

 

When the oil is hot in the pan , add the Bhajjiya in it with the help of hands. Reduce the flame of the gas for few minutes so that the Bhajjiya gets cooked well from inside. When it becomes light brown, take it out from the oil and serve it with sauce or chutney.

  • Moong dal 100 gms
  • Onion 1 finely chopped
  • Green chillies 2 to 3 finely chopped
  • Green Coriander
  • Salt to taste
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp
  • a pinch of baking soda
  • Oil
