Cut the potatoes, wash them and keep them in water so that the potatoes do not turn black, without water the potatoes turn black.
Take oil in a pan, add onion and fry till it becomes light pink, keep the flame low and keep stirring so that the onion does not burn.
When onion turns light pink, add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt, cumin, coriander powder, turmeric, red chili powder and fry well adding some water.
When the masala is well roasted and the tomatoes are cooked, add potatoes and a little water, cover and let it cook for 10 to 15 minutes, removing the lid from time to time, so that the potatoes do not burn.
Cut thick green chilies and put them in the potatoes, check the potatoes, if there is a lack of melting and there is no water, then add some water and cover the lid, cook on a low flame for 2 to 3 minutes, now add green coriander to the potatoes Serve |
