Chilli Chicken
Chilli Chicken is a very popular dish, it is served as a starter in weddings and parties. It is an Indo-Chinese dish which has become everyone’s favorite in India, especially of children, it is a favorite. Hearing the name of the dish, everyone’s mouth waters, be it children or adults, we can make it in two ways: gravy and dry.
Chilli Chicken is also very easy to make, it can be easily made in restaurant style at home.
Let’s see how to make Chilli Chicken –
Cut the boneless chicken into 1 inch pieces, wash them thoroughly and drain the water in a strainer. In a bowl, add chicken, corn flour, flour (optional), salt, ginger garlic paste, soya sauce, vinegar, black pepper powder. And egg, mix all this well and keep it covered for half an hour. When the oil is medium hot in the pan, add the chicken pieces one by one, take it out when the chicken becomes light brown.
Cut both the parts of green onion (onion and green part) separately and also chop capsicum, ginger, garlic and green chillies.
Take sesame oil (optional) or refined oil in a pan, add finely chopped ginger and garlic and stir for 2 to 3 minutes.
Now add the white part of green onion in it and stir it on full flame for 2 minutes. Add capsicum, half onion cut into big pieces, soya sauce , chilli sauce, tomato sauce, vinegar and salt and mix. If you want, add red chilli powder. Also add (red chilli powder is optional), mix 3 teaspoons of corn flour in 250 grams of water in a small bowl and slowly add it while stirring with one hand. This will make the gravy thick. You can adjust it as per your taste. make the gravy more or less thick
After cooking for 3 to 4 minutes, add fried chicken, add green onions and serve.

Chicken Marination –
- Chicken 500 grams
- soy sauce
- Salt to taste
- egg 1
- Corn flour 3 tbsp
- flour 1 tbsp
- 2 small spoons of soy sauce
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp
- black pepper powder 1 tsp
For gravy –
- Green onions (cut white and green parts separately)
- capsicum 1
- Green chillies 2 to 3 green chillies finely chopped
- Ginger 1 tsp finely chopped
- Garlic 2 tsp finely chopped
- Half onion (cut into large pieces)
- Tomato sauce 4 tsp
- Red chilli or green chilli 2 tsp
- Vinegar 1 tsp
- salt as per taste
- soy sauce 1 tbsp
- Corn flour 3 tbsp
- sesame oil or refined oil
