Tarbooz ka Sharbat To keep ourselves fresh in the summer season, we make and drink various kinds of juices, shakes, and sherbets. Have you ever drunk watermelon juice? If not, then definitely make this masala sherbet.
First of all, let’s prepare the shikanji masala –
- Cumin seeds 1 tsp
- Roasted cumin 1 tsp
- Ginger powder (sotham) 1/2 tsp
- Salt 1/2 tsp
- Black salt 1 tsp
- Cardamom 1
- Black pepper 1 tsp
- 1 teaspoon chaat fruit masala (optional)
Put all these in a mixer grinder and grind them finely.
You can make this spice more delicious by adding it to lemon water (shikanji), watermelon juice, mango sherbet etc.
To make the sherbet even easier, you can prepare and store sugar syrup (sugar water) –
Heat 2 cups of sugar and 2 cups of water in a bowl on the gas till the sugar dissolves. Do not keep it on the gas for too long. Fill it in a bottle after it cools down. Whenever you feel like making sherbet, add 2 tablespoons of syrup in a glass and make sherbet easily.
Let’s see the Tarbooz ka Sharbat recipe –
- Remove seeds of watermelon and grind it in a mixer grinder .
- Add 2 tablespoons or (as per taste) sugar syrup in the glass.
- Add 1/2 tsp shikanji masala
- Add ice and watermelon juice and mix it well.
