Let’s see Lauki Recipe –

 

 

 

Peel and cut the gourd, add salt, chilli and turmeric and mix well. When the oil in the pan is hot, fry the gourd for 3 to 4 minutes and take it out from the oil.

 

 

 

Make a paste of green chillies and tomatoes in a mixer grinder and put it in the pan. Add asafoetida, red chilli powder, turmeric, coriander powder, ginger garlic paste, chopped onions and water and fry it.

 

 

 

Once it is roasted well, add roasted Kasuri Methi, bottle gourd, Kitchen King masala and water as per requirement and cook for 10 to 12 minutes. Once the bottle gourd melts, add fresh cream or milk cream and mix it. Add green coriander on top and serve.

Ingredients  –

  • Bottle gourd 500 gms 
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp 
  • Turmeric 1/2 tsp 
  • Salt to taste 

Gravy –

  • a pinch of asafoetida 
  • Onion 2 finely chopped 
  • Red chilli powder 1/2 tsp 
  • Coriander powder 2 tsp 
  • Green chilli 3 and tomato 2 (paste)
  • Kasuri methi 2 tsp (roasted)
  • Ginger garlic paste 2 tsp 
  • Kitchen king masala 1 tsp 
  • Fresh cream or milk cream 4 tsp 
  • Oil 
  • Green Coriander
