Clean and wash Basmati rice and keep it soaked for 1 to 2 hours before, put oil in the cooker, when it is hot, add chopped onion and brown it.
When the onions turn brown, add tomatoes, ginger garlic paste, salt, red chili powder, turmeric, coriander, all these spices and a little water and fry well. Fry on low heat till the tomatoes are soft.
When the tomatoes melt, add water to the spices, add peas and whistle, when the gas goes out, open the cooker, put potatoes and rice in it, after one whistle, reduce the flame, for five minutes.
Open the cooker when the gas goes out, serve with raita and pickle.

- salt as per taste
- Red chili powder 1 tsp
- Turmeric 1 tsp
- Ginger garlic paste
- 2 tbsp oil
- 100 grams chopped onion
